Bryan Beasley is entering his first year as the Head Athletic Trainer at King’s Ridge Christian School. Originally from Collierville, TN, Bryan has been a Licensed and Certified Athletic Trainer practicing since 2008. Bryan brings a wealth of knowledge and clinical experience in multiple healthcare settings he has obtained in his 13 years as an athletic trainer.
Upon graduation from high school in 2002, Bryan attended Volunteer State Community College in Gallatin, TN where he would spend the next 2 years as a member of the baseball team. Bryan graduated from VSCC in 2004 with an Associates of Science and continued his education at MTSU earning his Bachelor of Science with an emphasis on Sports Medicine and Athletic Training in 2008. In 2018, Bryan earned his Master’s in Healthcare Administration from Purdue University Global.
Bryan always had a passion for science and medicine prior to college. He went to college with the long term goal of becoming a doctor. A series of shoulder injuries while playing baseball would ultimately change his plans moving forward. After working day in and day out with the Head Athletic Trainer at VSCC to recover from shoulder surgery, Bryan discovered the world of athletic training, and from there, his career plan changed. Athletic training turned out to be the perfect mix of sports and medicine, and Bryan went on to pursue his new goal.
Upon graduating from MTSU and passing his BOC exam, Bryan went on to start his career at The McCallie School in Chattanooga, TN. Bryan served as an Assistant Athletic Trainer at McCallie from 2009-2012. Along with his role as an athletic trainer, Bryan also taught Sports Anatomy, served as a dorm parent, as well as created and led a monthly Grand Rounds education workshop for students interested in the medical field to listen to alumni that went on to have careers in the medical field speak about their experiences.
In 2012, Bryan became the Head Athletic Trainer at Rabun Gap Nacoochee School in Rabun Gap, GA. In 2014, Bryan would then go on and work 2 years as an Industrial Athletic Trainer for QuadMed. He went on to earn multiple certificates in Ergonomics and Infectious Disease Prevention. Bryan also worked as an athletic trainer at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta for 2 years serving as the Head Athletic Trainer at Sequoyah High School in Canton, GA. Bryan went on to work for Source Fitness in 2017, taking over the Head Athletic Trainer role at Creekview High School from 2017-2020 before accepting his new role with King’s Ridge Christian School.
Bryan currently resides in Cumming, GA with the former Elizabeth Richards of Crystal Lake, IL. Bryan and Elizabeth married in April 2015, and they have 3 children named Silas – 4, Marvin – 3, and Mabel – 1. In their downtime, Bryan and his family love to spend time together outside as a family and play in the yard and the garden or go for a hike.
