Trent Orndorf
Coach Orndorf brings over 40 years of experience coaching at all levels of soccer – club, college, and professional. He has previously served on the coaching staff at both Life University and Georgia State University at the collegiate level and served as an assistant coach for the Atlanta Silverbacks of the A-League and the Atlanta Blackhawks of the PDL. He was the Associate Head Coach of GA Storm in the NPSL in their inaugural season in 2021. The Storm made the playoffs as the league runner-up in their inaugural season and led the league in goals scored and lowest goals allowed. He was the Head Coach for their UPSL team in 2021. Orndorf recently served (2023) as the Head Coach for Atlanta Fire United in the UPSL directing the team to second place in their first season.
He served as the assistant coach for the Clayton State University men's soccer team from 2011 to 2021.
He was on the Board of Directors for the Roswell Santos Soccer Club and coached in various positions for that club for over 15 years. He is the current head coach for the 2011 Boys Team at Santos.
He also worked as the community coach for the Blessed Trinity High School Boys Soccer Program in Roswell, GA until coming to King's Ridge Christian School. In 2022, Trent was named South Region Assistant Coach of the Year for The United Soccer Coaches Association after leading the team to a 17-4-0 record and the State Semifinals in their first season in 6A.
Orndorf is a United States Soccer Federation (USSF) and Georgia Soccer Educator where he works with coaches across the country who are earning their coaching credentials. In addition, he is a staff member with Georgia ODP. Orndorf is currently with the 2013 and 2010 ODP boys’ team.
Orndorf has a master’s in administration (Leadership) and a graduate certificate in training and development from Central Michigan University. He holds a USSF "A" and a USSF National Youth License.
