Jonathan Ramos
Coach Jonathan Ramos is in his first season as an assistant coach here at KRCS. He started his career as goalkeeper and then a pre-academy coach. After 7 years of coaching, he's become passionate about coaching the sport he loves, specifically goalkeeping. Through his journey, he's realized the power of consistent habits to achieve results. He’s here to guide others on their journey, ensuring they stay motivated and see tangible results.
Ramos started coaching club soccer as an assistant coach for a recreational boys' team and later coached pre-academy and transitioned to select teams. He started coaching for Roswell Santos and is currently coaching for Georgia Rush (as a goalkeeper coach). He has also coached boys' and girls' teams working with kids from 7 to 18 years old. He's a fan of the development process of guiding kids to a better skill and mental mindset and pushing them toward goals that they might not even realize they can achieve.
Ramos’ background started with Sunday league games, club soccer, high school, and finally amateur league soccer. He has always played goalkeeper and feels confident when he gets the chance to advise future goalkeepers. He’s navigated the complexities of being a coach in this game. His challenges as an athlete have taught him the importance of patience and understanding in nurturing a player's growth. He’s here to support them on their journey and become someone they can trust in the process.
