Chris Merhoff
Chris Merhoff grew up playing for several youth clubs and adult clubs in Camarillo and Ventura, CA. He was on the regional State ODP team and was named 1st Team All-Conference and MVP for his High School Team. Merhoff played Division 1 collegiately for Appalachian State from 1981 to 1985. After graduation, he moved to Nashville where he played on the top Men’s team in the state and then played two seasons (Indoor and Outdoor) for the Nashville Metros, a semi-professional team, in the USISL.
Merhoff began coaching in the early 90’s in Nashville with Brentwood FC. Upon moving to Atlanta, he began coaching at NASA (formerly Metro North) until moving to Roswell Santos where he coaches currently and has been for the past 20 years. Merhoff has coached at every youth level and was the Tennessee State Girls ODP Head Coach for two years. Numerous players of his have gone on to play collegiately and professionally.
