Zach Slaney
Coach Slaney enters his 1st season as the Head Coach at King’s Ridge Christian. Coach Slaney was previously the Offensive Coordinator/Associate Head Coach at Holy Innocents’ Episcopal School where he helped lead the team to a 28-9 overall record in three seasons, including two region championships and two quarterfinal playoff appearances. He has also been a two time Parker Resources’ Assistant Coach of the Year (2021 and 2022). Prior to Holy Innocents’, Coach Slaney was an assistant coach at Pace Academy under head coach Chris Slade (2018-2021) and The Heritage School under head coaches Derrick Clay (2015-2017) and Micah Alba (2018). In 2016, Coach Slaney was selected to coach in the GISA Senior All-Star Game after an undefeated regular season and state quarterfinals appearance. Coach Slaney has also been a 2x State Runner-Up Assistant Coach in Basketball (Heritage) and has won a State Championship in Track & Field as an Assistant Coach at Pace Academy in 2021.
Coach Slaney is excited to use the game of football as a vessel to glorify God and teach King’s Ridge students valuable life lessons that will help them grow as servant leaders. He lives in Roswell, GA, with his wife, Ellen.
