Before joining KRCS, Coach Watkins was the Head Coach at Whitefield Academy for eight years. “The beauty of coaching young student-athletes is that it provides an immediate opportunity to create and encourage meaningful relationships. I hope that the experience of playing for me is remembered as a positive one regardless of talent level or wins and losses.”

Coach Watkins attended Amelia High School in Cincinnati, a multi-sport athlete, and is currently a member of the Athletic Hall of Fame. Coach Watkins played college softball at Georgetown College in Kentucky and was a four-year starter for the Tigers from 1999-2003. Still holding several offensive records for GC, Watkins was inducted into the GC Athletic Hall of Fame in 2016. A highlight of her career was playing with the USA Athletes International team in Germany and Holland.

While earning her Master’s Degree in Kinesiology, Crissy worked closely with several Georgia Southern athletic programs and athletes, including the softball team.
