Brian Steigleder is entering his third year as an assistant baseball coach at King’s Ridge Christian School and currently serves as the Junior Varsity Head Coach while also assisting the varsity program. A 2009 graduate of Shades Valley High School in Irondale, Alabama, Brian was a three-year varsity starter and helped lead the Mounties to the Alabama 6A State Quarterfinals during his sophomore season in 2007. He was also a recipient of the prestigious HOBY Leadership Award.

From 2009–2011, Brian played collegiate baseball at Enterprise State Community College before returning to Shades Valley High School to coach the Junior Varsity team from 2013–2014.

Brian competed in semi-professional baseball with the Birmingham Juggernauts of the BMBL from 2016–2023. During that time, he led the league in slugging percentage and RBIs in 2021 and paced the Juggernauts in batting average in 2022.

Since 2017, Brian has coached multiple travel baseball teams at the 12U–15U levels throughout the Birmingham area and has provided individual instruction. He currently coaches with the Georgia Roadrunners travel baseball program in Alpharetta.

Outside of baseball, Brian enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time with his wife and stepdaughter.
