Coach Cleveland is from Daphne, Alabama where he attended Daphne High School from 1995-1999. Coach Cleveland was a two-sport athlete at Daphne High School, playing Varsity football and Varsity baseball. Coach Cleveland went on to sign with Auburn University on a football scholarship after his senior year. After his freshman year at Auburn University, Coach Cleveland decided to pursue his baseball career and went on to play baseball at Jefferson State Community College, Alabama Southern Community College, and Savannah State University. After Coach Cleveland’s junior year at Savannah State University, he was drafted by the Cincinnati Reds organization in 2003. Coach Cleveland played three years of professional baseball before deciding to go back and finish his college degree in Criminal Justice. Coach Cleveland spent the next fourteen years in law enforcement before deciding to pursue a career in real estate in 2020. In 2024, Coach Cleveland became the Director of Security at King's Ridge Christian School, where he has also coached baseball for two out of the last three seasons. Coach Cleveland is married to Brooke Cleveland and has four children. Coach Cleveland is extremely excited and very humbled to have an opportunity to coach at King's Ridge again this year.
