Clay Cleveland
Coach Cleveland is originally from Daphne, AL, where he attended Daphne High School from 1995–1999. A two-sport varsity athlete, he competed in both football and baseball during his high school career.
Following graduation, Coach Cleveland signed a football scholarship with Auburn University. After his freshman year, he made the decision to pursue baseball full-time. He continued his collegiate baseball career at Jefferson State Community College, Alabama Southern Community College, and Savannah State University.
After his junior season at Savannah State, Coach Cleveland was selected in the 2003 MLB Draft by the Cincinnati Reds organization. He played three seasons of professional baseball before returning to complete his college degree in Criminal Justice.
Coach Cleveland then served fourteen years in law enforcement before transitioning into a career in real estate in 2020. In 2024, he joined King's Ridge Christian School as Director of Security, where he has also coached baseball for two of the past three seasons.
Coach Cleveland is married to Brooke Cleveland and is the proud father of four children.
