Ella David is in her third year at King’s Ridge, where she coaches cheerleading for students from kindergarten all the way through 12th grade. Cheer has been a part of her life since she was little—she cheered both in school and through club programs all the way through graduation, and now she gets to share that same love of the sport with her athletes.

Originally from Iowa, Ella graduated from the University of Iowa in May 2023 with a degree in Elementary Education and a literacy endorsement. Soon after, she moved to Georgia to be closer to family and joined the KRCS community as both a kindergarten teacher and cheer coach. She says it’s been a blessing to step right into her dream job while also getting to pour into her favorite sport.

When she’s not teaching or coaching, Ella enjoys spending time with family and friends and finding ways to stay active. A verse that’s especially meaningful to her is Isaiah 43:1–2, which reminds her of God’s constant presence and protection:
“Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine…”
