Erica Mentzer is in her second year coaching girls basketball at King’s Ridge, working with both the varsity and middle school teams. Before coming to KR, she spent three years coaching AAU and knows firsthand the impact basketball can have on young athletes.

Erica played collegiately at Belmont University, where she was a starter every year of her career. Her experiences as both a player and a coach have shaped her passion for developing athletes who work hard, support one another, and honor Christ on and off the court.

Family is a big part of her life. Erica has been married to her husband, Chad, for 17 years, and together they have three children—Brayden (17), Audrey (15), and Presley (13)—all of whom attend King’s Ridge and are thriving in the KR community.

Her favorite verse is Philippians 4:13:
“I can do all things through Him who gives me strength.”
