We’re thrilled to announce that Coach Scott Platzke and Coach Keaton Platzke will be leading our varsity wrestling program!
Head Coach Scott Platzke brings more than 50 years of experience as both a wrestler and coach. A lifelong student of the sport, his passion for developing young athletes through discipline, teamwork, and sportsmanship continues to shape the foundation of Tiger Wrestling. Before joining King’s Ridge, he coached in both Ohio and Georgia, including serving as President of the Forsyth Central Takedown Wrestling Club.
Assistant Coach Keaton Platzke, a former multi-time state qualifier and team captain in Georgia, enters his fourth year of coaching, his third with King’s Ridge. Known for his focus on technique, mental toughness, and building a fun, family-like environment, he shares his father’s commitment to helping athletes grow on and off the mat. During his high school career, he was also a sectional champion and three-time team captain.
Together, the Platzkes bring unmatched experience, energy, and heart to our program, and we’re excited to see all they will accomplish this season! Go Tigers!
