King’s Ridge Christian School’s varsity baseball team captured the GHSA Class A-Division 1 Region 5 Championship with a 9–1 victory over Mt. Pisgah on Thursday.

The Tigers finished region play with an impressive 12–1 record and currently stand at 26–3 overall, positioning themselves among the top teams in the state.

Led by Head Coach Mike Power and a senior class of 10 players, King’s Ridge has demonstrated consistent performance throughout the season with strong pitching, disciplined offense, and steady defense.

With the region title secured, the Tigers now turn their focus to the GHSA state playoffs, which begin April 24. Carrying significant momentum into postseason play, King’s Ridge is expected to make a strong run.
