King's Ridge Christian School’s Head Baseball Coach, Mike Power, secured his 600th career coaching win on Monday. Coach Power, now the 15th coach in state history to reach this accomplishment, earned the milestone win with a dominating 9-0 victory over Mount Pisgah. Powers’ high school coaching journey includes stops at Harrison (1990-1998), Daphne, Ala. (1998-2002), Northview (2003), Roswell (2004-2017), and King's Ridge Christian School (2021-present). Coach Power was inducted into the Georgia Dugout Club Hall of Fame in 2017 and he has sent countless players onto the college and professional level. Reflecting on this achievement, Coach Power expressed gratitude for the support and contributions of players and fellow coaches, stating, “I feel blessed in so many ways; I’ve had so many great players who have played for me and so many great assistants who have coached with me. It’s a humble feeling.” The King’s Ridge Tigers are currently 14-7 and ranked fifth in the state. ...
