The KRCS Varsity Football program recently celebrated the first-ever Mom’s Week, an event that will become a new tradition for the team. Head Coach Zach Slaney shared, “Mom’s Week is one of my favorite events each year. It gives an opportunity for our players to be intentional on showing their gratitude, love, and respect toward their moms and the caring female figures in their life.” Throughout the week, players wrote heartfelt letters to their moms, committed to helping at home, and spent quality time with these amazing women. On Friday night, the players proudly walked out with their moms before the game, honoring them for their unwavering support and sacrifices. Coach Slaney emphasized, “These women are superheroes, and we want to make sure they know it.”
